Central Indiana Public Charter Schools to be First Students in the Country to Use New, Interactive Technology

In an effort led by the IPCSA, in partnership with the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center, more than 7500 students from 21 Central Indiana public charter schools will benefit from Project: Engage, a two-year initiative that will bring state-of-the-art technology, creative and engaging programming — the first of its kind in the country — into the classroom through a grant awarded by the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center.

Picture a 3-D, holographic theater. Now move this into any classroom. That is Prometheus. This fall each school under the grant will receive a Prometheus unit to keep.
The grant will also provide significant professional development to charter teachers, foster curriculum development, bring RLHEC staff into each school eight times per year and each charter student to RLHEC twice per year.

The following 21 public charter schools will participate in Project: Engage:

The Bloomington Project School
