IPCSA Congratulates Herron Educator

nn09_herron_lineweaver_0015996 Congratulations to Greg Lineweaver, the first Indiana charter school teacher to be named a Milken Educator. Since 1993 over $1.3 million has been distributed to exemplary Indiana educators through the Milken Family Foundation Awards. More important than the money, though, is the group of teachers he will be joining. Indiana’s Milken Educators are a respected and very active community.

Milken awards are not ones that teachers seek for themselves. The recipients are sought out and selected through a rigorous process. Information about the Milken awards, including selection criteria can be found at http://www.mff.org/mea/.
